Thank you
At the end of the Autumn Term, we want to say thank you to families for their efforts to keep everyone in school safe – wearing face coverings, observing social distancing and following the one way system around school. It has been a scary time for lots of staff and children alike. Many of our staff have been dedicated to coming to school despite the covid risk to their own health conditions or those of their families. It means a lot to us when you help to keep everyone as safe as possible.
Your children have responded brilliantly to the covid-safe school arrangements and they have been a credit to you. Everyone has shown what our school motto means when we say “Work Hard – Be Kind”, especially in such tricky times. We hope you have a safe and happy Christmas time.
Mr Gray and Mrs Brook
Covid Reporting in the Holidays
If anyone in your house has a positive coronavirus test whilst school is closed, please take a screenshot of the test result and forward it to office@victoriaprimaryschool.org.uk
If the school is contacted for contact tracing, we will send an email to let you know if this might affect you or your child. The last point at which we can contact you will be 21st December. If you don’t hear from school by then, you are in the clear!
Christmas performances
As we can’t host families of our under 7s for the normal Christmas performances this year, each class in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 have made a recording to share with their families instead! The link for each class will be sent by email to each parent on Tuesday 15th. We hope they get you in the festive mood J
