Summer 1 Learning
Subjects taught this term:
Maths - Measurement, Statistics and consolidation of the four operations.
English - We will be writing a myth inspired by the Vikings beliefs.
Art - We will be developing our sketching with perspective skills, using the buildings of Watson Fothergill as our inspiration.
Music - We are listening, appraising, composing and performing using Pharrell Williams' 'Happy' as our inspiration.
History - The Vikings - Raiders or settlers: how should we remember the
Vikings?
RE - We continue our architectural theme in RE where we will be thinking about religious expression through buildings. What could be controversial about building a 'grand' house of God?
PSHE - This half term we will be covering our relationships and sex education content - parents will receive further detail about this through MCAS.
Computing - We will be planning and creating our own quizzes.
