Race Day

Next Tuesday June 22nd is our Race Day (as long as the weather is ok!). If you are getting sponsors for the children’s two chosen charities (Cancer Research UK and Nottingham Refugee Form) keep going – it will be worth it when we add all our donations together! Don’t forget PE kits ready for the event.

Nottingham RSE DAY

Next Thursday June 24th is a RSE (Relationships and Sex Education) day within schools in Nottingham. RSE is part of the PSHE curriculum. The Nottingham-theme this year is ‘Faces’. On this day, children will be participating in a range of activities such as: looking at healthy relationships, thinking about what makes good friendships and diversity within our community.

School Closed next Friday

A reminder that school is closed for staff training on Friday 25th June.

Year 6 Transition Days

Due to covid-related issues, some secondary schools are now changing their Transition Day plans. If your child is affected by a change, don’t worry – they will come to our school if they can’t go to their new school as planned.
This includes Nottingham Emmanuel School (NES) who will now see Victoria Primary pupils on the morning of Wednesday 7th July – our staff will collect children from Emmanuel at the end of the morning and bring them back to school for lunchtime and the afternoon session as normal. A letter from Mrs Stapleton (Principal at NES) is being sent to those affected.
