Remembrance Sunday – 8th November
You might have seen our poppy display which is starting to take shape at our Bosworth Walk entrance – well done to classes across school for their efforts!
Because there can’t be the normal national events this year, Nottingham City Council is asking local schoolchildren to download a poppy, colour it in and place it in their window to mark Remembrance Sunday (8 November) and Armistice Day (11 November). If you’d like to get involved, click for more info
Friday 13th November is Feel Good Friday, part of Children in Need.
The theme this year is ‘Five to Thrive’ which is a programme of wellbeing activities. Look online for fun activities from Joe Wicks, Blue Peter and Doctor Radha.
At school we will join in with our non-school uniform day. Please remember that children still need to come to school in clothes which will keep them warm and dry as well as being suitable for outside play/ being able to go to the toilet independently!
If you would like to make a donation to the Children in Need, your child’s teacher will collect this.
