Awards galore!

It is the time of year when pupils are recognised for their efforts not just week by week, but for constant efforts over the whole year… Here are some of the pupils who have been selected for awards in 2017 – 2018 school year:

- University of Nottingham Key Stage 2 Scientist of the Year – Samuel (Year 6) - nominated by Assistant Head Miss Froggatt and Class Teacher Miss Moore for his constantly enquiring mind, problem solving abilities and clarity of explanations.

- Lord Mayor’s Attendance Award – Tyler and Ousman (Year 5) – nominated by Mr Gray and Deputy Head Mrs Brook for having 100% attendance and a 100% dedication to the school motto “Work Hard – Be Kind”. Special mention to last year’s winner Harry (Year 5) and to Ruby (Year 5) who were very deserving runners up – again with 100% attendance and dedication to the school motto!

- School 100% Attendance Award – at the moment there are 67 children who will be attending this year’s treat which is awarded to any child who has above 99% attendance. Children who come to school most, learn most and we are proud to have so many children who have managed such excellent attendance since September 2017 all the way through to now!
